Impeccably clean place with garden views and welcoming and exceptional staff. Exceptionally comfortable bed in the king room, plus central heating, an iron, and a work desk. - Lots of goodies for breakfast. - Great location as only 5 minutes to Palais des Sports de Pau. - Based in a nice area. - Relaxing base for exploring Pau.

The hotel was close to the a64 and convenient for our onward journey to the Alps.Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good value, as was the price of our overnight stay.

The new owners are terrific guys. They'll go out of their way to assist you! And the price is right! The hotel is about a 10-minute drive from downtown Pau.

This is not a complaint per se, just an observation. I thought I had seen everything in terms of bathing facilities in south European budget hotels, but this one takes the cake. Not only are you required to be a circus juggler to manipulate the showerhead with one hand and manage soap and cloth with the other, you must also be able to aim the water beam exactly towards you because....the stall has no door, as a result of which the facility is flooded by the time you're done. I suggest to the new owners to install heavy-duty shower curtains.

Extremely friendly staff, basic facilities at an affordable rate. Used as a motorcycle tour stop over it was excellent in location, cost and comfort. Small bathroom and shower which was ideal. Really ideal for our needs on this trip. Good parking for motorcycle at front.

Not really any show-stoppers at this price, the wifi was the only annoyance as it says free but I couldn't login rot it without paying? To update my trip journals and navigation. All round ok.

Missing a kettle in the room.

The room description said it had coffee machine, microwave, etc but the room had nothing only TV. Description is totally wrong.

We tried to book in with the machine outside but it said (could not find my reservation) when we arrived at 4pm. So we had to wait till 5pm when the reception staff came. He informed me I should have confirmed my booking before 11am, that was the reason my reservation was not there. We then went to the room where there was a dead fly on the table and dust. We did not like the shower, also when getting up to use the toilet in the middle of the night, putting the light on light up the room waking my husband. Also there was no where to get a meal and when we left the road and walked to the very busy main road there was no pavements and it was very dangerous.

The location is fantastic, in a great local area close to the motorway, and with Caliceo Pau nearby too!

Extremely pleasant position in cul de sac, close to the centre of Pau yet in peaceful, country type area, not surrounded by roads or industrial buildings. Special deal with nearby hotel for excellnt meal so no having to go searching on a late arrival. Variety of languages spoken by reception staff so undestanding no problem. Very friendly staff.

The reception staff were efficient and helpful On check in explained everything and gave town plan and places to visit also were to eat. Excellent stop over if you are travelling from france to spain. Its also a pet friendly hotel
